Trainee, Digital Entertainment and Gaming

The Overview:  

We’re excited to be looking for a Trainee to join our Los Angeles team! 

As part of our Brand Communications group, your role would be working with the team on a cross-section of leading video gaming and toy clients, as well as supporting other accounts in the digital entertainment and consumer technology space. The team is collaborative, energetic and passionate, and we are seeking a Trainee that fits this dynamic. If you’re looking for a fast-paced role to gain great experience, our trainee program may be right for you. 

The Fine Print: 

  • Monitor press clippings for clients, track media impressions and craft, maintain and share coverage reports  
  • Collaborate in team brainstorms 
  • Handle incoming press requests and research press contacts  
  • Maintain media lists for client outreach 
  • Review, edit and update press materials including press releases and media alerts 
  • Assist with special events, when applicable 
  • Research relevant media targets and coordinate press and influencer mailers 
  • Provide administrative support including setting up conference calls and meetings, taking notes and other tasks as needed 
  • Requires strong organization skills and keen attention to detail 

What’s our goal? 

We want to provide you with skills, experience and a good dose of inspiration. But we also use the program as a training camp of sorts. It’s one of the primary ways we identify talent matches for our entry-level full-time roles at R&CPMK. 

**Trainee roles are hybrid temporary positions, paid, 40 hours per week, with a 4-month term. $17/ hour
